I remember this one time that I went to six flags as a kid. I must have been around 10 or 12 at the time. All I can say is I had the time of my life!! It was me my Mum and my sister, my mom’s boyfriend and his daughter. I remember that we had arrived at the beginning of the day after a long 12hr drive to LA. I remember that after we arrived we decided to spend all day trying to ride as many rides as we could before we had to leave. You know how when you are young and you blow everything out of proportion?
Well, that is exactly what I did! I wanted to ride everything and experience everything and I couldn’t take it all in fast enough, (laughing). I must say I wanted that day to last forever. Little did my Mums boyfriend know at the time I was making out with his daughter on some of the rides, for example on the, “It’s a small world after all,” ride. Sometimes don’t you wish that you could just go back into time and relive everything? AH memories! That day I also rode my first roller coaster and fell in love with them! One of my favourites at the time was called, “Top Gun,” what an experience as a young kid!
As the day started to wind down we began to hit the haunted houses, and oh my gosh let me say the one haunted house with the holograms was absolutely amazing. I was astounded when I say the ghosts dancing in the ball room, it looked so real as a kid! As the haunted house ride got closer to the end I laughed so hard when my Mums boyfriends’ daughter screamed when a ghost appeared between us where we was sitting on the ride. Once night fully set in we went to see some night shows and see the fireworks. From there we went to have dinner at this really nice Chinese restaurant to which I can’t recall the name of now. I must say it was one of the best days of my life. So parents make sure to take your kids to do something that they will remember for the rest of their life’s.
