I have been looking for a high quality table saw for a long time.
After thorough research and keeping price factors in mind I bought a #Evolution #FURY 255mm multipurpose table saw. I have a mixed mind-set on this saw. First thing that struck me is the lengthy installation process. Though the manual had the complete set of instructions, I found it tough to assemble.
For people who are new with saws, this installation would be really tough. Rip fence is okay but sturdiness is not up to the expectation. Another drawback I found is the thin blade. If you apply much pressure on it, the blade could bend and you may need to straighten it before cutting further. However the cut quality is good and I find it reasonable for the price. The measuring marks aren’t that accurate and you may need to pay extra attention to set the cutting lengths. Rest of the parts in this saw is of acceptable quality. For my home activities this saw is really good. For a normal price bracket, I could say Evolution FURY 255mm does what is expected out of it. This is just a simple home saw and you cannot expect advanced features.
Dust extraction, #anti-bounce are some stated advantages but I am doubtful on whether they really serve the purpose. Talking about the size and storage, I would say it is fair and would fit on a reasonably compact space. Rest of the parts in this saw is of acceptable quality. For my home activities I find this saw really helpful. For such a normal price bracket, I could say Evolution FURY 255mm does what is expected out of except for the value added features. For a longer run, I would recommend you search more and buy a costly saw as this would fit the DIY category. Have a look at this saw here: cost economical saws, then this would be a right choice.
